Fun Afternoon

This Sunday both JJ's and BJ's kids had their Primary
programs, so I went to church with them to watch.
After church I went over to BJ's and had dinner with
her and the grandkids and just relaxed, the guys were
working. Nina and Twiggy were having so much fun on
the tramp, and I was able to get some pretty good
action shots of them.

Fire Dept. visit to Kindergarden

Today was a special day for the Irving Kindergarden
kids, they were visited by both the INL Fire Dept.
and the Blackfoot Fire Dept. My WH is a fire fighter
at the INL and got to go to the school with the smoke
trailer, CD was so excited to have his Grandpa there.
All the kids got to go through the smoke trailer and
learn about the gear that the fire fighters use, then
they watched a little movie about what to do in case
of a fire, and see the fire truck. It doesn't seem like
much to us, but it sure was exciting for these little guys.

Snow in September?

Yes, it's September 29, and this is what we woke up
to this morning. Burrrr! This really isn't what you
would expect the end of September, but around here
it really is pretty normal. We usually get at least one
storm like this go through during harvest. Well, I
suppose it's getting that time of year.

Georgous Sunset

Sorry I haven't blogged for so long, I just haven't really
been anywhere to take any pictures. But, tonight we
had the most beautiful sunset. It had been so cloudy
and miserable all day, and just before sunset the clouds
started to break up, and wow it was georgous. I just had
to share these pictures with you.

Scrapbooking

My daughter JJ got me hooked on something new this
weekend. She showed me how to do digital scrapbooking
and I love it. The first page JJ did to show me how to do
it, the second page JJ helped me with and the third page
I did last night just playing around. It is a very simple page,
but it fit the situation. Thanks JJ, this is going to be lots
of fun.

Jackson Hole WY

Hi! Sorry I haven't Blogged for a while, things have been
pretty crazy around here with me going back to work.
The weekend before school started WH and I went to
Jackson Hole WY with my daughter BJ and her husband
Digger. We had alot of fun, the first night we were there,
here was a down pour. I mean it really rained buckets of
water. The water was running off the building across the
ally way from us so fast it looked like a water fall. It was
pretty neat. We took the canoes to a String Lake and went
canoeing. That was lots of fun until a storm came in over
the Tetons, right over the top of us, that got a little
exciting. We drove over to Teton Village and rode the
tram to the top. It sure was pretty from up there. Then
we went to the Bar-J Ranch where we had a wonderful
supper and saw a very entertaining show by the Bar-J
Wranglers. If you ever get a chance to see these guys, the
show is great. Thanks BJ and Digger for a good time.

Family Camp

Ten years ago my husbands parents decided to do a family
camp, well it has become a tradition. We go camping as a
fimily every summer. It is a great time to get back in
touch with family members we don't see all the time. We
really do have alot of fun together. I couldn't ask for a
better family to be married into.

These are my dirty grandkids, they sure did have alot
of fun playing in the dirt.

Looks like CD has a black eye, but don't worry
it's just dirt. Check out those blue, blue eyes.

Bubba had a great time catching water skippers
or what ever else there was in his net.

Sparky and CD enjoyed playing in the fire.

This summer WH and my son KD decided to make
canoes. We took them with us to family camp, they
were a big hit, everyone enjoyed them.

I am so thankful for this wonderful family, they truly
are the greatest thing to happen to me.

Love Flowers

I love flowers and love taking pictures of them.
I look for them everywhere, in my yard, in my
daughters yards, when we are camping or on a
trip. If they are pretty I take their picture. What
can I say, I love flowers.
