Love Flowers

I love flowers and love taking pictures of them.

I look for them everywhere, in my yard, in my

daughters yards, when we are camping or on a

trip. If they are pretty I take their picture. What

can I say, I love flowers.

My Family

Since my daughter has gotten me into Blogging, I figured you should meet my family since much of my blogging will contain pictures of them. After all, they are the most inportant things in my life. The names being used are nick names as I didn't want to use there real names on the net. Here they are, meet my family:

After the 4th of July celebration's, WH and I met his family in Island Park for three days of camping. It was really hot just sitting around camp, so we all climbed into Mom and Dad's outfit, which has air-conditioning of course, and went site-seeing. We visited a fire lookout (don't remember the name of the mountian). This site is on the list of historical sites. Then we drove over to Sawtell, the views from the top of Sawtell are just awsome. You feel like you are on top of the world. It was a very nice camping trip, hot but nice.

4th of July Fun

For the 4th of July we all got together at my

daughters house and had a BBQ. Then we drove

over to Jensen's Grove to watch the fireworks.

It sure is nice having all my children so close and

being able to spend lots of time with them.

There were lots of waterfalls at the Gorge

After 12 years of marriage, WH and I finally got to go on a

honeymoon. It was great! We decided to go to the Oregon

Coast for a week. The ocean was beautiful and as you can

probably tell, the lighthouses were my favorite. The first

lighthouse we went to was Cape Blanco where we got to tour

the inside and climbed the 63 stairs to the top where a tour

guide told us about lighthouses and how they worked. It was

really neat. We were also able to go inside the Yaguina Head

Lighthouse where there were 136 stairs to the top. We

enjoyed the tide pools, it was fun to see what kind of weird

creatures were in them. We visited the Sea Lion Cave which

is the largest natural water cave. It was too dark inside the

cave to get good pictures, but there were lots of Sea Lions

on the cliffs around the caves. There were lots of huge

bridges which we had to cross, WH said that they freaked

him out cause most of them were so high off the water. We

stayed in Yurts at the State Parks which was much nicer

than taking along a tent and much easier and cheaper than

totting along a trailer. We took many long walks on the

beaches, one of our favorite was Ship Wreck Beach. When

we left the coast we drove through the Columbia Gorge

where we visited lots of huge, beautiful waterfalls. It was

so nice to get away just the two of us, and spend some US

time together with my Wonderful Husband.
